Craig Mosford is a Section Chief with Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement (OSPIE)/Policy Analysis/Strategic Analysis.
Mosford began his TSA career in 2002 and in 2012, he joined TSA’s policy branch. In this position, he has developed an appreciation for how policy is shaped and written. He understands policy is a truly collaborative effort — between TSA, aviation stakeholders, industry organizations, and Congress.
“What I do matters because as a Section Chief with OSPIE/Policy Analysis/Strategic Analysis, I work to improve TSA stakeholder relationships with airport industry organizations – developing security policy and plans that reduce the risk of catastrophic terrorist attacks. Ensuring airports have fully incorporated TSA’s security directive measures and policy initiatives are an important focus area of mine.
“The most rewarding part of my job is interacting with employees and stakeholders who are committed to protecting the public and nation’s transportation systems. I firmly believe the TSA can provide our industry partners with the resources and information needed for effective security. What we do matters – to our nation, the public, governments both here and abroad, and to all TSA employees.
“I am most proud of our agency’s commitment to becoming a high-performing counterterrorism organization.”
