TSA Officer Nicole “Nikki” Rivera sang the National Anthem at the Cardinals vs. Mets game on Monday night at Citi Field in New York. A joint Honor Guard unit, comprised of TSA officers from John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport and Long Island/MacArthur Airport, delivered the colors in center field.
Rivera has worked for TSA at LaGuardia International Airport for two years and this marked the first time a TSA employee had the honor of singing the National Anthem at Citi Field. More than 20,000 people attended the game with approximately 350 of those being TSA employees and their families.
