Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent service as a Stakeholder Manager for the Transportation Security Administration at a large or medium sized airport. As such, he/she serves as the lead liaison for the Federal Security Director (FSD) with various stakeholders concerned with aviation security policy. Plans, coordinates and implements effective strategies to establish and maintain a program to communicate to stakeholders the Transportation Security Administration's policies, programs and activities; and to identify and respond to stakeholders' questions, problems and concerns. Works closely with leadership to develop and implement stakeholder information policies and programs.
Analyzes TSA's communication needs and recommends programs and technologies needed to effectively communicate with stakeholders. As the principal TSA interface with security policy stakeholders, the incumbent is responsible for gaining a full perspective on all aspects of the innovations, and "lessons learned" to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of aviation security policies. Provides overall technical and administrative direction to the staff.
