Intern Programs
Students can make a world of difference to the traveling public with a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) internship. In cities across the country, TSA secures airports, seaports, railroads, highways and public transit systems. A TSA internship will allow you to help protect your nation’s transportation infrastructure from terrorist attacks, and ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce.
Student interns are considered the future of innovation and cutting-edge leadership at TSA. TSA offers several programs for students pursuing degrees in a diverse range of majors at locations throughout the country. Students are learning and supporting TSA’s mission throughout the organization, from the Federal Air Marshal Service to the managerial, administrative and professional employees that keep TSA going.
- Student Career Experience Program — paid student employment related to academic studies which provide on-the-job learning opportunities.
- Student Temporary Employment Program — paid temporary employment for those interested in valuable TSA work experience.
- Student Volunteer Service Program — an unpaid internship opportunity allows students to receive academic credit and gain marketable skills.
