Statement Regarding Press Reports of TSA Employee Involvement in Queens, New York Homicide

The New York Post and New York Daily News reported today that an employee of the Transportation Security Administration was possibly connected to a homicide in Queens, New York.
After coordinating with the NYPD and conducting an official inquiry into the matter, TSA has determined that the individual named by both papers is not nor has ever been an employee of the TSA.
TSA has contacted both papers to correct this inaccurate information.
