WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced it has named James E. Fuller as the agency's Chief of Staff.
Fuller will be leaving the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, where he served as the principal liaison to the Chairman for the last two years. He was responsible for facilitating all administrative, legal and policymaking functions on the Chairman's behalf.
"James brings a wealth of experience to the TSA" said Rear Adm. David M. Stone, USN (Ret.), Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for TSA. "The organization will undoubtedly benefit from his insight and I am pleased to welcome him to our leadership team."
Fuller's rich experience in the public sector includes six years as New Mexico Sen. Pete Domenici's State Director and campaign manager where he effectively managed two diverse staff operations, while ensuring strict adherence to federal law and Senate rules.
He also served as Chief of Staff for the New Mexico State Senate's Republican Caucus and worked in several other political and campaign capacities in New Mexico and Washington, D.C.
