WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rear Adm. David M. Stone, USN (Ret.), Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), announced today that it has agreed to commit $1.7 million to the Maryland Aviation Administration for improvements to the checked baggage screening system at Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI).

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced the release of the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for the testing phase of the Secure Flight program along with a proposed order to airlines to provide one month's worth of Passenger Name Records (PNR) data to be used for program testing. The PIA (PDF 48 KB) includes details of TSA's privacy policy for the testing phase of the program and the system methodology for Secure Flight.
