The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has named Art Meinke as the Federal Security Director at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida. Meinke, previously the Deputy Federal Security Director at MCO, will oversee all TSA activities at the airport.

HOUSTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today began the Registered Traveler Pilot Program at George Bush Intercontinental (Houston) Airport (IAH) in conjunction with Continental Airlines. Similar pilots were launched successfully in Minneapolis and Los Angeles in July.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Twelve canines and their handlers graduated today from the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) explosives detection training facility at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. They will now go on duty to protect travelers and mass transportation systems.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced it has purchased 37 eXaminer 6000 Explosives Detection System (EDS) machines from L-3 Communications Corporation of New York, N.Y. These machines will be in addition to the approximately 460 L-3 EDS machines already in use screening checked luggage at the nation's airports.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has named Aaron Batt as the Federal Security Director at the Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) in Bloomington. Batt, previously the Deputy Federal Security Director in Fort Wayne, Ind., will oversee all TSA activities at BMI.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today named Daniel P. Fevold as the Federal Security Director (FSD) at Billings-Logan International Airport in Billings, Montana. Mr. Fevold has served as the Assistant Federal Security Director for Screening for nearly two years.
