TSA Pledges $3 Million For Explosives Detection System At Greensboro, N.C. Airport

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rear Adm. David M. Stone, USN (Ret.), Acting Administrator for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), today announced TSA has signed a contract with the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority for $3 million to help offset costs of modifying airport facilities to accommodate a checked baggage screening system featuring new Explosives Detection System (EDS) machines.
