The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced a $19.3 million cooperative agreement with the American Trucking Associations (ATA) to expand ATA's Highway Watch program, which trains highway professionals to identify and report safety and security situations on our Nation's roads.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Florida state House and Senate leaders, and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announced a groundbreaking new partnership today to strengthen security at the State's seaports.

For many, spring break is a time when thousands of students leave daily responsibilities behind, hopping on flights bound for sun or snow. But all travelers must remember that airline security is a serious matter that requires following a few easy guidelines.

"We anticipate this spring travel season will be very busy," said Rear Adm. David M. Stone, Acting Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration. "We are prepared to accommodate travelers nationwide. In turn, we ask travelers to be prepared to fly."

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today named Michael D. Robinson as the Federal Security Director (FSD) at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Robinson will assume leadership of all TSA activities at the airport. Robinson has served the past two years as the Assistant Administrator for Aviation Operations for the TSA in Arlington, Va.
