TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – The Transportation Security Administration announced today that Rick Gordon has been named federal security director (FSD) at Cherry Capital Airport (TVC). As FSD, Gordon will oversee all TSA security operations at TVC and its spoke airports in the upper peninsula of Michigan.

WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today the graduation of 11 members of its National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program. The teams are assigned to airports in Houston; Boise, Idaho; Manchester, N.H.; Dallas and Los Angeles and mass transit systems in New York-New Jersey and Baltimore.

WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued its notice on the standard fee amount for the Registered Traveler (RT) Program in the Federal Register. The RT program is comprised of two fees, one for private industry and one for TSA. TSA's portion is $28 and will cover the cost of completing a security threat assessment for each applicant and program management expenses.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced the selection of Covenant Aviation Security, LLC, of Bolingbrook, Ill. as the private screening contractor for San Francisco International Airport (SFO) under the Screening Partnership Program (SPP). Covenant has selected Lockheed Martin Information & Technology Services as a strategic subcontractor.
