WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced the selection of McNeil Security, Inc., of Springfield, Va. as the private screening contractor for Greater Rochester (N.Y.) International Airport under the Screening Partnership Program (SPP).

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today continued comprehensive efforts to strengthen air cargo security by announcing requirements designed to protect the more than 50,000 tons of cargo that is transported aboard passenger and all-cargo aircraft each day. The security requirements mark the first substantial changes to air cargo regulations since 1999, and represent a joint government-industry vision of an enhanced security baseline.

Trinity has selected Covenant Aviation Security LLC as a strategic subcontractor.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the U.S. Coast Guard today took another step toward the implementation of the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) by approving proposed regulations for a biometric-based identification credential for port workers. The notice of proposed rulemaking will be published in the Federal Register in the coming days and lays out specific details on the program. The public will have forty-five days to comment and four public meetings will be hosted by TSA and Coast Guard to solicit public input.
