WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced it has set a deadline for passenger air carriers to conduct 100 percent cargo screening on international flights bound for the United States. Beginning December 3, 2012, all cargo shipments loaded on passenger aircraft must undergo screening for explosives, fulfilling a requirement of the Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act.

WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced the start of TSA Pre✓™ operations at Portland International Airport (PDX). TSA Pre✓™ is a passenger pre-screening initiative and select Alaska Airlines' frequent flyers traveling out of PDX are now eligible to receive expedited screening for domestic travel. American Airlines and Delta Air Lines frequent flyers are also eligible to participate out of PDX.

TSA Pre✓™ is a passenger pre-screening initiative and at MCO select Delta frequent flyers and members of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler programs are now eligible to participate and may receive expedited screening benefits when traveling domestically.

WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced the start of TSA Pre✓™ operations with Alaska Airlines at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Alaska Airlines is the third airline to begin offering TSA Pre✓™ to select members of their frequent flyer program, in addition to Delta and American Airlines. TSA Pre✓™ is a pre-screening initiative and allows select passengers to receive expedited screening for domestic travel.
