“TSA holds its employees to the highest ethical standards and expects all TSA employees to conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism. TSA concurs with GAO’s four recommendations to ensure that the agency establishes a process to verify that TSA staff at airports are in compliance, and is already working to implement these recommendations.

PHILADELPHIA – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced the expansion of TSA Pre✓™ operations at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Now eligible passengers traveling on Alaska, United, Delta and Virgin America may receive expedited screening benefits at the checkpoint in Terminal D/E. TSA Pre✓™ has been available at Checkpoint C in Terminal B/C to participating United and US Airways passengers since September 2012.
WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced that Virgin America will begin offering TSA Pre✓™ to individuals with a government issued Known Traveler Number. Starting in June 2013, Virgin America passengers may enter their Known Traveler Number or PASS ID in the Known Traveler Number field during the reservation process or upon check in at the airport ticket counter to be considered for TSA Pre✓™ benefits. Later this year, Virgin America plans to also invite eligible frequent fliers to opt-in to TSA Pre✓™.
