TSA Pre✓™ Expedited Screening Begins at Memphis International Airport

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced that TSA Pre✓™ is now available to eligible passengers at Memphis International Airport (MEM). Under TSA Pre✓™ passengers traveling domestically from MEM who are select American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways frequent travelers or members of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler programs are eligible to participate and may receive expedited screening benefits at Checkpoint B.

Under TSA Pre✓™ passengers traveling domestically from CLE who are select American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways frequent travelers or members of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler programs are now eligible to participate in TSA Pre✓™ and may receive expedited screening benefits at the South Checkpoint.

TSA Pre✓™ Begins at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

AUSTIN, Texas – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced the start of TSA Pre✓™ operations at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). Under TSA Pre✓™ passengers traveling domestically who are select Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways frequent travelers or members of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler programs are now eligible to participate and may receive expedited screening benefits. The TSA Pre✓™ lane is located at Checkpoint 2.

TSA Announces Upcoming Airports to Offer TSA Pre✓™

WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced five more airports will offer TSA Pre✓™, bringing the total number of airports participating to 40. By April 1, 2013, eligible passengers flying on participating airlines out of Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS), Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE), Memphis International (MEM), Nashville International (BNA) and Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) airports may receive TSA Pre✓™ benefits.

DHS to Support Security Operations for 57th Presidential Inaugural

WASHINGTON— The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will support security operations for the 57th Presidential Inaugural, coordinating with federal, state and local agencies to secure transportation systems and protected sites surrounding the event. The U.S. Secret Service has primary responsibility for the coordination of security planning and implementation. In addition, the Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection will provide assets and personnel.
