Screening Partnership Program

Interested in Applying to Provide Private Screening Services

Contract Awards

Private screening contracts have been awarded for the following airports:

  • September 18, 2014 – Awarded to Trinity Technology Group for Sanford International Airport (SFB).
  • September 22, 2014 – Awarded to BOS Security for Roswell International Air Center (ROW).
  • May 29, 2014 - Awarded to CSSI FirstLine for four Montana airports: Bert Mooney Airport (BTM), Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), Glacier Park International Airport (GPI) and Yellowstone Airport (WYS).
  • February 24, 2014 - Awarded to Akal Security Inc. for Kansas City International Airport (MCI).

Contract (non-Federal) screener positions in the Screening Partnership Program

The Aviation and Transportation Security Act required TSA to establish a program allowing airports to utilize employees of qualified private screening companies, working under TSA oversight, to perform passenger and baggage screening services. Screeners employed by these companies must meet all employment suitability requirements applicable to federal transportation security officers.
