Los Angeles Region Trucking Tabletop Exercise (TTX)
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Surface Division - Industry Engagement Branch will conduct an Intermodal Security Training and Exercise Program (I-STEP) tabletop exercise (TTX) on September 4, 2014, and will be held at Sysco Los Angeles Facility, 20701 E Currier Rd, Walnut, CA 91789, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; registration begins at 4:00 PM; registration begins at 8:30 AM. The TTX is a one-day discussion-based event focused on exploring participants’ prevention and protection capabilities to limit or counter the effects of security incidents against a cross section of trucking assets. All sectors of trucking will be engaged during the event. Additional aims of the exercise are to familiarize industry partners with TSA’s Principles of Risk-Based Security Strategy, FBI’s InfraGard Infrastructure Liaison Officer (ILO) program, and transportation trucking technologies to counter and/or mitigate risk. Participants will include trucking industry professionals, law enforcement, state/local agencies engaged in transportation security, and Federal representatives from TSA, DHS, DOT, FBI, and others.
Your participation is important to ensure your perspective is presented during our discussion of trucking industry security topics, and to provide an opportunity to enhance existing relationships with other agencies/organizations.
