Every year, more than a million Muslim pilgrims take part in the Hajj, including thousands of Americans.
The travel period this year for the Hajj will be between November 20, 2009 and early December, 2009.
Travelers returning from Hajj who wish to bring back water from a well in Mecca should pack it in their checked baggage if the container is larger than 3.4 ounces, pursuant to TSA's 3-1-1 liquids regulations.
