Disqualifiers

HAZMAT Endorsement Threat Assessment Program

The following lists include HME disqualifying crimes and are comparable to disqualifiers for assessments undergone by airport and airline employees. These crimes are only disqualifying if they are considered felonies in the appropriate jurisdiction, civilian or military. You are eligible to submit waiver or appeal materials for certain crimes.

Interim Criminal Disqualifiers

TSA will send a letter to you with details of potentially disqualifying factors if you have been convicted or found not guilty by reason of insanity within the previous 7 years or were released from prison in the last 5 years for any of the following crimes:

Permanent Criminal Disqualifiers

TSA will send a letter to you with details of potentially disqualifying factors if you have been convicted or found not guilty by reason of insanity for any of the following crimes, regardless of when they occurred:
