2009 International Pipeline Security Forum
The 2009 International Pipeline Security Forum will be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on Oct. 28 - 29, 2009. The Forum is being hosted by Natural Resources Canada in collaboration with the TSA Pipeline Security Division, and will take place at the Government Conference Centre in downtown Ottawa, 2 Rideau Street, beginning on the morning of Wednesday, October 28th and concluding on the afternoon of Thursday, October 29th.

Registration for the 2009 International Pipeline Security Forum is free, however, attendance is limited to pipeline, energy and security representatives and officials from private industry and government.
Special group rates have been negotiated with several hotels located in Ottawa's downtown area. However, these rates are being offered on a first come, first serve basis, so availability is limited. October is a busy time in Ottawa for conferences, so it is strongly suggested that you register for the Forum and reserve your hotel rooms as early as possible.

2008 International Pipeline Security Forum
The 2008 International Pipeline Security Forum was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Oct. 29 - 30, 2008. Approximately 200 people attended and based on the feedback received from the attendees the forum was a huge success. Individual speakers and panels discussed numerous security related topics of interest to the pipeline industry, including pipeline security training and exercises best practices, cyber security and SCADA vulnerability analysis, lesson learned from security incidents, pipelines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Canadian pipeline security standards, pipeline incident reporting and investigation, oil field and pipeline crimes, mitigation methods for copper theft, security considerations in pipeline construction, and a review of TSA’s Pipeline Corporate Security Review program.
