Pipeline Security

Guidelines

The existing Federal pipeline security guidelines were issued by the Department of Transportation in September 2002. With the establishment of the TSA Pipeline Security Division, these guidelines were adopted by TSA. We are currently in the process of revising the guidelines with the assistance of industry and government partners. Distribution of the updated guidelines is expected in 2009.
