Assistant Administrator for Transportation Threat Assessment and Credentialing
In November 2005, Stephanie Rowe was designated as the assistant administrator for Transportation Threat Assessment and Credentialing (TTAC). She reports directly to TSA Administrator Kip Hawley, and runs an office of more than 170 employees with an annual budget of $100 million.
She is responsible for the following key TSA programs:
Prior to joining TSA, Rowe worked more than 15 years as a successful business consultant, including time as a senior executive at Accenture, LLP. She consulted with public and private sector clients, managing complex large-scale SAP (a leading business enterprise technology solution) implementations and change initiatives, including human performance, business process re-engineering and information technology programs.
Between 2002 and 2005, Rowe specialized in programs related to homeland and transportation security, developing skills and experience in business architecture, process design, technology implementation, program management, organizational and job design, communications and training. She also participated in critical programs with the Department of Homeland Security, including Checkpoint Design and the United States Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology (US-VISIT).
Rowe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in administration from Bowling Green State University, majoring in Management Information Systems.
