TSA Precheck logo

It can be quite annoying when you print your boarding pass and don’t see the TSA Pre✓® logo. Once you’ve experienced TSA Pre✓®, there’s just nothing like it. We regularly get tweets like the one pictured below from people who don’t have the logo on their boarding pass.

AskTSA Tweet: my family and I are signed for the TSA Precheck, but it is not showing up on our boarding passes. any solutions?

The most common problem is that names, birthdates and Known Traveler Numbers (KTN) are entered incorrectly while making reservations. If you’re off by even one letter or number, you will not receive TSA Pre✓®.

If you didn’t receive TSA Pre✓®, you can tweet our @AskTSA team and they’ll help you get to the bottom of it.

Here’s what you need to do:

Follow @AskTSA on Twitter and direct message the following:

  • Full name
  • Known Traveler Number (KTN)
  • Airline
  • Confirmation Number

A member of our team will contact you and help you figure out why you’re not receiving TSA Pre✓®.It's important that you're enrolled in TSA Pre✓®, Global Entry, Nexus or Sentry.

If you’re not a Twitter user, or would rather speak to somebody on the phone, you can reach out to our TSA Contact Center. See more info below on how to contact them.
