Stanley Lee
Stanley Lee is the Assistant Administrator for Flight Operations within TSA’s Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service (LE/FAMS). Lee steers strategic vision and direction across the Flight Operations Division. He oversees the Operations Branch and Flight Programs Branch, leading the global deployment of Federal Air Marshals, critical incident management, intelligence and insider threat operations.
Lee joined the Federal Air Marshal Service in 2002 and has served in several leadership positions. Before becoming Assistant Administrator, he was the Supervisory Air Marshal in Charge of the Atlanta Field Office where he provided vision and implementation of numerous LE/FAMS priorities.
Previous supervisory assignments include Program Manager of the Land Mobile Radio Section, Department of Homeland Security Executive Emergency Communications Committee, and assignments at the New York, Baltimore, Cleveland, Washington, and Charlotte LE/FAMS Field Offices.
Prior to joining the Federal Air Marshal Service, Lee held several positions with the U.S. Department of Treasury, ascending to the rank of Lieutenant. He is also a decorated 24-year military veteran and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps.
Lee earned a Master of Arts in Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. He earned the LE/FAMS SAC of the Year at the 2023 TSA Honorary Awards Ceremony.
