Michael Ondocin is currently the Executive Deputy Assistant Administrator/Deputy Director for the Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service. Most recently, Ondocin served as the Supervisory Air Marshal in Charge of the Boston Field Office from December 2015 to October 2018. During his tenure at TSA, he has established partnerships with federal, state and local leaders in support of the TSA mission.
During his career with TSA, he has held leadership roles as the Supervisory Air Marshal in Charge of the Minneapolis Field Office and the Assistant Supervisory Air Marshal in Charge of the Denver Field Office. He began his career with the Federal Air Marshal Service in 2002, assigned to the New York Field Office.
Prior to joining TSA, Ondocin was with the New York City Police Department for approximately 12 years. He accepted an appointment as a Police Officer in 1990 and worked numerous assignments in both patrol precincts and specialized investigative units where he achieved the rank of Sergeant.
Ondocin holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Empire State College.
