Administrator Awarded 2014 Williams Trophy

The Washington Airports Task Force today presented TSA Administrator John S. Pistole with the 2014 Williams Trophy at their 32nd Annual General Meeting in Falls Church, Va.

Pistole received the award on behalf of all TSA employees and was acknowledged for his leadership in transforming TSA into a risk-based, intelligence driven counter-terrorism agency.

Established in 1996, The Williams Trophy is awarded annually to recognize leaders who make a positive difference in aviation. The trophy commemorates the work of Carrington Williams who was the founding chairman of the Washington Airports Task Force.
