TSA Administrator Peter Neffenger addressed the Seton Hall University School of Diplomacy and International Relations on “Entrepreneurship in Government: Lessons from TSA’s Transformation,” Nov. 29 in South Orange, New Jersey.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to host Vice Admiral Neffenger at this pivotal time when disparate views of approaching homeland security have been international news on a near daily basis,” said School of Diplomacy Dean Andrea Bartoli. “The way that the Administrator has been able to transform the Transportation Security Administration is remarkable.”
During his address, Neffenger discussed the agency’s identity, accomplishments, changes and transformation during his tenure at TSA beginning with the creation of a centralized TSA Academy. “Training is the foundation of mission success, and it is a powerful tool used to galvanize and lead change,” said Neffenger.
