TSA to hold several recruiting events during CIAA Tournament Weekend in Baltimore

BALTIMORE – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will participate in several recruiting events during Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Tournament Weekend, Feb. 28 to March 2, at the Baltimore Convention Center as the agency is seeking to hire employees in several fields ranging from Federal Air Marshals to TSA officers, mission support specialists and administrative and executive staff. No previous security experience is necessary.

TSA will participate in several key events at the convention center during the course of the weekend including High School Day, Career Expo and Fanfest. These events present job seekers with a unique opportunity for to engage with TSA directly and learn more about the agency and its dedication to ensuring a diverse workforce. TSA’s presence will be highlighted by booths at each of the events, where TSA employees from multiple areas of the agency’s operations will be on hand to answer questions about the variety of job openings. TSA officers, Federal Air Marshals and officials who work behind the scenes to support TSA’s security mission will be on site to chat with potential job candidates.

Job openings are available in both entry-level and mid-career opportunities.

The weekend will bring together more than 35,000 attendees, including students and alumni from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), as well as sports enthusiasts from across the nation.

Applicants do not need previous experience working in security or law enforcement fields. New hires will receive extensive training and they are paid while undergoing training.
