My child is traveling alone, do they need a REAL ID?

TSA does not require children under 18 to provide identification when traveling within the United States. If your child is traveling alone (without an adult escort) and has TSA PreCheck, they will need to present an acceptable ID to receive TSA PreCheck screening. It is also important to contact your airline for questions regarding specific ID requirements for travelers under 18.
